How To Get a Forklift License?
They’re one of the most versatile pieces of machinery in the world, they are capable of carrying loads beyond your wildest expectations and they are only accessible to those with the expertise to use them.
What are they? Forklift trucks of course! These incredibly useful vehicles have found themselves used throughout Australia for years now.
But unlike driving a car, anyone hoping to take one of these vehicles for a spin will need to do one thing above all else – and that’s prove that they are worthy enough to do so.
These trucks require a special form of license and although you might see that as a bit of a hurdle; just imagine becoming one of the handful of specialists qualified to control a forklift in a professional environment.
Employers are constantly seeking these types of license holders and with more and more businesses relying on the transportation potential offered by these vehicles, you could end up becoming one of the most sought after professionals in your workplace.
Now, we’re sure that you’re wondering how you might go about obtaining one of these licenses, so here’s a little guidance.
How Do I Get My Forklift License?
At A1 Group Training, we specialise in offering a variety of civil construction courses to help our students to better their education, pursue their dream careers and enjoy all that the construction industry has to offer.
The first thing to do is decide on the right type of course for your needs. Where some companies offer basic, intermediate and advanced training; we opted to create a unique approach to your licensing that allows you to better your skills, whatever your experience.
A license to operate a forklift truck won’t come easily and that’s why we’ve developed an effective approach to training our candidates.
Once you have decided on a course you can enrol directly, where you’ll be given a time and date for it to start – as well as the option to obtain more information from our team.
You’ll then be introduced to a curriculum that consists of four areas of study, with each being aimed at encouraging your understanding and knowledge of forklift truck operation as a whole.
Not only will our fully licensed and experienced trainer (Danny McCartin) teach you all that he knows; he can even do so on your premises, or right here at the A1 Group Training course facility.
You’ll need to learn how to maintain your forklift, how to use the hydraulics and how to load and unload safely; not to mention more advanced information to ensure that you are capable of utilising your truck to its fullest potential.
The course will then finish with an examination of your capabilities – and if you are fortunate enough to pass, you will be issued with your very own forklift truck driving license.
All of this for just $650 seems too good to be true, but in reality it isn’t. In fact we’d be more than happy to answer any questions that you might have, or help you with your enrolment today, so why not get in touch?
